This Richard Mille MBZ 010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2009 was from a limited series of 200, specially commissioned by the Sultan and Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Zayed, and presented to VVIPs at the opening of the first Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula 1, which took place on November 1st, 2009.
This model is characterized by burning the track layout and the words “Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Etihad Airways” on the dial. The original Richard Mille “RM” designation, was changed to reflect the Sultan’s initials, MBZ, and hence MBZ 010.
This is an extremely special piece with impeccable provenance. These were never offered for sale to the public and only given to VVIPs
