St Exupery Perpetual Calendar Big Pilot - International Watch Company
Weighs a ton in rose gold, but it’s worth the pain for something this beautiful
Glashutte Original Grande Cosmopolite Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar
(wait let me catch my breath)
It’s very unusual to see a tourbillon and perpetual calendar complication in one watch, but a world first to see in in conjunction with a worldtime function that allows the owner to “track the time of day or night at home and on the road simultaneously, in any two of 37 world time zones, while accounting correctly for Daylight Saving (DST) or Standard Time (STD) and for travel forward in time (to the East) or back in time (to the West). All destination time and date changes made by the wearer are displayed by a Perpetual Calendar geared to register changes in both directions, forwards and backwards in time.”
(catches breath again)
Limited to 25 pieces, and presented in that coffee table sized box…
At 48mm it’s pretty big for a dress watch, but seriously come on, how badly do you want one!?

Senator Perpetual Calendar by Glashutte.
Classy as f*ck!
A round of applause for the beautiful Jaeger LeCoultre Master Quantième Perpétuel 8 Jours please!
(Yeah I’m a day late, so what?!)
Another quantieme perpetual, this time from Atelier de Monaco.
The distinguishing feature with this QP however is that there are no additional pushers, visible or hidden. All the functions are set and adjusted from the 1 crown. Push the crown button in to select the function you want to change, and turn the crown to change that mother f*cker! Simple as that!
Limited to 88 pieces, and the starting price is a very reasonable (for a perpetual calendar anyway..!) £26,000
Oooh! Some Wednesday wrist porn!
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Quantieme Perpetual Chronograph in rose gold. Limited to 25 pieces worldwide :)

IWC Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN - live at SIHH 2012
Come to pappa…
Again from SIHH, this time the ceramic IWC Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar. Tbh I’d have this in pretty much any and every colour way and material they have made it in. The black ceramic looks very handsome though, I must say.

It’s complicated…
Franck Muller Aeternitas Mega 4. At the time of production it contained the most complications of any wristwatch in the World (36 altogether).
Complications include:
Dual time display.
Retrograde date and month indicators.
Mono-pusher split second chronograph (how did they even do that with a mono-pusher?!)
Perpetual calendar secular with 3 digit year, month, day and leap year indicator.
Grande and petite Westminster Chime.
Dual power reserve indicators - one for the movement and one for the Westminster Chime.
Moonphase indicator.
Equation of time indicator.
Visible dial side tourbillon.
All yours for only $2.7 million :)
Dear Santa,
I know you’ve just pissed off back to Lapland only 22 days ago, but if you don’t bring me this motherf*cking Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar in ceramic next time you’re in town, I’ll chop your bollocks off and feed them to you.
Thanks x

Becoming a major feature in the high end watch collectors wish list, De Bethune have really set and kept the bar raised with their unique designs and takes on modern complicated watches.
Here is the dressy-but-different DB25QP moonphase perpetual calendar, with a “1 day in 122 years” level of accuracy, a double self-regulating barrel, a triple pare-chute shock-absorbing system and a titanium/platinum balance.

Must admit in my opinion the watch is too big for his wrist. I don’t think the lugs should go over the edge of your wrist.”
I’d agree, though it’s accentuated by the fact that it’s a square-ish case…though it’s got to be kinda big to fit the chronograph and big date PC complications into it I guess!
