And some random roses

Got bored earlier today and decided to take some photos of watches lying around…
3 great pieces, and a versatile collection. Personal fav? Mine is that JLC Master Compressor Diving

I miss diving in the sea…this is my reminder of sunnier days.
Unf! Master Compressor Diving Chronograph by Jaeger LeCoultre. Pretty impressive spec sheet including a 1000m depth rating (high for a chronograph) and pulsometer track allowing the user to measure their heartbeat rate per minute - useful underwater!.
1928 - Running on the LeCoultre 17JSSCCRVQ Calibre, this watch is one of the rarest and most prestigious in the history of fine watchmaking. Its skeletonised dial and its sapphire back reveal a mechanism offering a minute repeater, a fly-back chronograph and a perpetual calendar
£160k worth of Jaeger LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon. Perpetual Calendar, retrograde date and the most attractive tourbillon cage I’ve ever seen. I personally prefer the Gyrotourbillon 2 in the Reverso case, but wouldn’t turn this down given the chance!
Fantastic looking Jaeger chronograph!! Can anyone tell me which model this is?
The 4 ATM chronograph
An awesome pic taken by MattS of his Jaeger LeCoultre Place Dauphine (or Shark Chronograph)! I quote:
“The late 60s and 70s chronos with white face and black subdials are popular amongst collectors. They are referred to as Panda dials. The most popular are the Rolex Daytonas and Heuer Carreras. The JLC version is this, water resistant chronograph to 4 ATM. So it makes sense to have a pictorial essay by the river.
Here is a picture taken on the Pont des Arts, pedestrian bridge crossing the river”
Today’s interesting vintage chronograph is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Shark, from the late 1960s. Read all about this watch in this fantastic posting on the PuristSPro JLC discussion forum.
The case is very similar to the one used for the Heuer Autavia, Reference 2446C; the JLC chronograph came with a Minute bezel, and Hour bezel or a World Time bezel.
Everything bar the logo and bezel scream vintage Heuer to me…which is a good thing ;)

A beautiful Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso QP. Very classy way to display a perpetual calendar with moonphase and leap year displays included. Even better in this rose gold hue

Another mechanical alarm, this time in a much more aggressive case, by Jaeger LeCoultre
Extreme w alarm v. Rossi 46
A round of applause for the beautiful Jaeger LeCoultre Master Quantième Perpétuel 8 Jours please!
(Yeah I’m a day late, so what?!)
