Laurent Picciotto shows us the new Hublot Classic Fusion Skull Bang in ceramic :o
There’s a new criteria to fill if you want to call yourself a ‘Red Bottom Boss’ now.
The Colosimo series of watch winder/safes by Doettling has been re-done in 2 new finishes and a reduced size. The first is the obviously Christian Louboutin inspired ‘Spike”, and the second is the ‘Mies’, inspired by what I would describe as a Chesterfield pattern (I know, I’m a simpleton), but I now know to be the Barcelona chair designed by Mies Van Der Rohe.
A fully functional safe, each unit is capable of simultaneously winding 3 automatic watches. Winding is important because an automatic watch that is left for a few days without any wear or charging will stop until it is wound again. This causes lubricants and oils to dry up quicker and means the watch will need to be serviced sooner (/FirstWorldProblems).
I do like the fact that despite the high price tag, these things have been designed with a touch of opulence about them. They are made to be showpieces, and if you have the financial clout that enables you to enjoy a collection of horology’s finest then why hide them away in anything less than the equivalent of a Knightsbridge penthouse apartment!?
The triple-watch winder costs 15,555 Euros each, while a single watch winding version is available at a knock down 10,800 Euros

Early this year Hublot joined forces with Ferrari. Out came the daring and bold child, living on the edge. The Hublot Ferrari Chronograph caught me by surprise, at first I wasn’t on board and slowly I’m being swayed. I must admit the finish looks phenomenal and the dial is really done well. I happen to like the touch of the Ferrari styled numbers and indexes. And I love the rim styled rotor on the case back These pictures really show how well it works on the wrist and in the right light!

Fo’ real. Beats the King Gold version hands down imho.

OK, but only because she’s wearing a Hublot..!
Since Crown & Buckle was the the Heat versus Suns game on Tuesday, we thought it would be fun to post this one up. This is the dial of the new Hublot x Miami Heat collaboration.
Now this is bad ass Watch Winder!
This is the new Hublot Watch Winder Safe by Dottling. This thing is amazing, led lights, carbon fiber and about 4 ft high. It’s everything you would expect from Hublot. The real kicker here is… It’s a Safe, winder, IPod and a stereo. All controlled by an App on your iPad. That’s pretty sweet!!!!!Photos and write up courtesy of aBlogToRead.
Love that colour combo! *salutes*
Follow http://garbettm.tumblr.com for a very good blog run buy a guy with an awesome watch collection :o
Essentially a beefed up Big Bang case with the Oceanographic Diver’s quick strap release buttons and the chrono pushers from the Audemars Piguet Legacy…
Yes the Unico movement is nicely skeletonized, and the *unscratchable King Gold alloy is technically a great leap, but that case is the definition of ‘meh’
Here it is… The new 2012 collaboration with Ferrari and Hublot. The new Hublot Ferrari Big Bang in Magic Gold, weighing in at a size of 45.5 mm in a totally re-designed case and skeleton Unico movement. I like the idea on the in-house Unico movement, Unfortunately I am not a fan this new design on the case.
